Rocks of Isabela Island
This island has been the best snorkleing so far with many beautiful fish in 40 ft visibility.
Too bad, I don't have an under water camera to show the shots!
Dingy landing |
Sultry, humid hot temps, we are dripping sweat, walking under low foliage trees, heavy with guano smells from the nesting frigates above. They have no fear of us as we pass under, some nests are at eye level!
The male frigate makes a "whistling" noise and puffs up a red neck like a balloon to attract the females, mating for life and live up to 30 years!
